A new pretty foal was born on Easter Monday night. Escada gave birth to Nera, totally black/greyish, and some say she will stay black, instead of turning white in a couple of years. Thats’s why we gave her the name Nera- black in italian. Most andalusian horses are born brown and turn withe within their years. In spanish they call that colour ‘tordo’. Well, if Nera will turn white, she will have a funny name, we like that…

So nice to hear from you, and wake up to a beautiful new baby. She looks so big to only be a week or two old. Imagine you are working hard, but enjoying every minute of it. Laurie and Dawn are both trying to get pregnant, but so far no luck. Mila is a hand full. Comes over and rules the house. Has trained me, Walter and Michael to do whatever she wants. Not much else on the street since you went home. Sandy still trying to sell the house, the house by Claudia/Keith still for sale, and working on Gerhard’s though have no idea what is happening in there. In other words, rather boring.
